US Open 2025 Day 5: Swiatek, Sinner, Gauff Headline Thrilling Round 3 Pursuit

Day 5 of the 2025 US Open offers a packed line-up featuring top seeds and home favourites across the show courts. At Arthur Ashe Stadium, World No. 2 Iga Swiatek opens against Suzan Lamens, aiming to maintain her dominant form.

Top seed Jannik Sinner follows with a testing clash against Alexei Popyrin, while American No. 3 seed Coco Gauff meets Donna Vekic in a highly anticipated battle.

At Louis Armstrong Stadium, 10th seed Lorenzo Musetti takes on Belgian veteran David Goffin in the opening match. Naomi Osaka, seeded 23rd and looking to continue her strong return, faces Hailey Baptiste in a match sure to attract attention.

Third seed Alexander Zverev then meets Jacob Fearnley, before eighth seed Amanda Anisimova plays Maya Joint to round off the session.
